Blanket Club

Each month you will learn new stitches and row by row work towards making a fantastic blanket.  The crochet pattern and stitch tutorial will be provided in the workshop.  There are 3 different blanket designs to choose from.

You do not need to attend every month and can join the blanket club at any point during the year.  Yarn packs are available to buy, but if you would like to use yarn from your own stash, you are most welcome to do so.  You will need up to13 different colours of yarn in a DK weight.

Dates – Monday evenings, 14th September, 23rd November 7 – 9.00 pm.

On the first session, you will choose which blanket you would like to make (choice of 3 designs), choose your colours, work on a tension square and start your set up rows.

During the following sessions, you will learn how to follow a crochet pattern and learn new stitches, such as V stitches, Granny Trebles, Shells, Puff stitches, Cables and more.

Each Blanket Club session costs £20 and includes tuition and refreshments.

The Blanket Club Yarn Pack is available to buy at the workshop and includes 13 balls of West Yorkshire Spinners ColourLab DK

Location: St Ippolyts Parish Hall, Waterdell Lane, St Ippolyts, Hitchin, SG4 7RB

The classes take place in an accessible village hall, with disabled parking at the front.  There is plenty of parking to the rear of the hall.

Please Note – Refunds can be only given if your workshop place is cancelled with 48 hours notice, or alternatively we can transfer you on to another workshop.  Unfortunately, if less than 3 people book on to the workshop, the tutor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class and refunds will be given.
