The Harmony of Leaves lightweight summer vest top pattern is named after a line in the poem The Sorrow of Love by WB Yeats which creates a beautiful haunting image of nature prevailing over the poet’s sadness. The repeating pattern of leaves has been designed to recreate the beauty and harmony of nature.
This garment can be made to fit sizes: Finished bust circumference – Size 1 –80 cm / 32 inch, size 2 – 84 cm / 34 inch, size 3 – 102 cm / 40 inch, although the pattern can also be adapted to make larger sizes.
The Crochet Kit includes a project bag, 100g of HeartSpun 4ply Natural undyed yarn and 6 x 20g of dyed yarn for the stripes, and the Harmony of Leaves Vest top crochet pattern. Everything you need to make a gorgeous summer top.
You will need either a 2.5 mm or 3 mm and a 3.5 mm crochet hook. It is recommended to crochet a tension gauge to ensure that you are using the correct crochet hook.
Please also note: The skein of yarn in the kit will need to be wound into a ball before you start to crochet.
