Pembrokeshire Cable Cushion Knitting Kit

This stylish Pembrokeshire Cable cushion would make any armchair or sofa look super cosy!  Knitted with a combination of knit and purl stitches, a mock cable and a simple woven cable panel using Woolly Chic’s Pembrokeshire DK undyed wool.

The cushion cover is worked in one long piece, and then seamed up each side.  A flap, closed with 2 buttons, is used to secure the cushion pad into the cover.  One-row buttonholes are worked, and full instructions for these are provided.  Adventurous beginner knitters should be able to tackle this project with ease.

The finished cushion measures approximately 12” x 12” (30 cm x 30 cm). The cushion cover will be slightly stretched to fit the cushion pad without being baggy.

• 175g Pembrokeshire DK Wool
• 2 buttons
• cable needle
• Project bag

You will need to knit the cushion cover:

a pair of 4 mm knitting needles and a 12 “ (30cm) square cushion pad (not included in the kit but available as an added extra – choose below).
